Importing and Exporting Multi-Level Budget Structures

You might sometimes find it necessary to use the same multi-level budget structure (MBS) in more than one system. Where this is the case, you can create it in one system, then export it to an external file. From there, you can then import it to any other system where you need it.

Prerequisites

You need to have created the MBS in the system from which you want to export it.

Activities

Export and import of the MBS is effected from Customizing. Choose Public Sector Management —> Funds Management Government —> Master Data —> Use of Account Assignment Elements —> Budget Structure (BCS) —> Multi-Level Budget Structure —> Copy Multi-Level Budget Structure and carry out the steps there as required.
