Assignment and Budget Objects in Local Budgeting
The example above shows how you correctly define an assignment level when doing local budgeting. The arrows show how during posting the system finds the assignment level on its way up in a hierarchy.
If you allocate budget locally, you surely would like to define the assignment object for each area of responsibility. If you have a more detailed commitment item hierarchy than in the example above, you can define the level of availability control for individual subhierarchies differently.
In this case however, remember that an assignable element in the hierarchy may only find one assignment object on the way up.
