Releasing Objects for Web Reporting

Use

Prerequisites

In the interests of data security in the SAP system, and to ensure that users get access to just the information they need, you must explicitly release the reports before users can access them.
All reports used in Web Reporting must be assigned to an authorization group in the program attributes. Otherwise, you get an error message.

Process

On the ABAP Workbench initial screen, choose Start of the navigation path Repository Browser Next navigation step Environment SAP Web Repository End of the navigation path , and then perform the appropriate operation:

To	Procedure
Release reports	Choose Internet release Reports. To get a list of released reports, choose Release Display released objects. Enter report name. Choose Release.
Disable reports	Choose Internet release Reports. To get a list of released reports, choose Release Display released objects. Enter report name. Choose Cancel release.
