To be able to use the Commodity Position Overview, you need to make the following presettings:

  • You have installed a current SAP GUI version with the integrated SAP Business Explorer of SAP Business Information Warehouse.

  • Optional: To accelerate data access using the extractor, you can use either SAP HANA or the SAP NetWeaver Business Warehouse Accelerator (BWA).

    In this case, you need to use a connector for the model 0CFM_CTY_EXPOS and all associated models. For each connector, you can specify how regularly indexing occurs.

    Note Note

    To be able to schedule regular indexing for all data records, you need to have authorization for commodity price exposures.

    Alternatively, you can set up a technical user with the relevant authorization and then use this user for the extraction. You can find the settings for this in Customizing for Embedded Search.
