Uploading External Account Statements
You can import an external account statement from an Excel file.
If you would like to import account statements from an Excel file, the file needs to meet certain format requirements.
The file format must be .xls or .xlsx.
The file must have the following columns:

The external account needs to have been created in the system.
The Excel file to be uploaded must not be open during the upload.
Call the function Upload External Account Statement
(transaction TREA_STA_UPL
).
In the File Selection
area, enter your Excel file in the File Name
field.
If you set the Background Processing
checkbox, the file is uploaded directly.
If you do not set the Background Processing
checkbox, you can check the data again before you upload it.
You can perform the upload as a test run first. For this, set the Test Run
checkbox.
Choose Execute
.
If you have not set the Background Processing
checkbox, the Check Data Before Upload
screen now appears.
The data from the Excel file is displayed in an SAP List Viewer
list. You can now check whether the data is correct. If the data is correct, choose Save
. If the data is not correct, choose Back
. Correct the data in your Excel file and restart the upload.
The system checks the data and issues a message log.
If an error occurs, the upload is terminated. In this case, you correct the data in the Excel file.
If no errors occur, the system creates the account statement and issues a success message.
