Procedure documentationReversing Clearing/Rejection

You use this function to reset a clearing or the rejection or the replacement of the counterparty.

If you use Trade Repository Reporting (TRR), the system creates a trade repository object (TARO) with the action type 40 Error and a TARO with the action type 10 New.

Procedure

  1. Call the function under Start of the navigation path External Accounts Next navigation step Clearing Next navigation step Reverse Clearing/Rejection End of the navigation path (transaction TREA_CLEAR_REV).

  2. Use the General Selections (Company Code, Transaction, Product Type, Transaction Type, Clearing Account, Counterparty, From Planned Clearing Date) to select the financial transactions that you want to reverse.

  3. You can perform the function as a test run first.

  4. The system reverses the clearing or rejection of the selected financial transactions.

  5. The system issues an error log and a list of the financial transactions that were reversed.

The reversed financial transactions acquire the status Clearing Requested (Planned) again. In the case of financial transactions for which the clearing had been accepted, the system undoes the novation with this reversal, and the original counterparty is entered into the financial transaction again. The payment details and the flows are as they were before clearing was performed.

If the counterparty had been replaced, the system undoes this replacement, and the original counterparty and the original planned clearing date are entered into the financial transaction again.

If the clearing had been rejected, the system resets the change in status.
