Procedure documentationDestroying Reporting Data Using HRCDENT

You use the HR: Reporting Data Germany archiving object (HRCDENT) to destroy reporting data that was created by the subsequent processes of Payroll Germany.

The archiving object is divided into archiving subobjects. The allows you to destroy data separately according to the different types of reporting. In Retention Management of SAP NetWeaver Information Lifecycle Management (ILM), you can create the relevant retention rules for each archiving object (for example, for DE Construction Pay: Funds Procedure).

The archiving object is divided in the following archiving subobjects (the V_T77PAD00_AOCLS view SAP or Default: Assignment of AO/SubO to Class:

Description

01CISKV

DE Construction Pay: Funds Procedure

01PSZV

DE OeD: Supplementary Pensions

You can find an overview of the database tables from which you can destroy data using these archiving subobjects in Archive Administration (transaction SARA) under DB Tables.

If data destruction is successful, the system creates a destruction log (infotype Archiving/Data Destruction 0283) that documents the destruction of reporting data. There is a destruction log for each reporting type (differentiation in infotype 0283 according to archiving subobjects).

If necessary, the system updates the personal earliest retroactive accounting date in the Payroll Status infotype (0003). For more information, see Retroactive Accounting Limit for the Destruction of Data.

Prerequisites

You are familiar with the basics of data destruction and the functions for ILM policies and rules and have defined the retention rules for the archiving object.

For more information, see Introduction to Data Destruction.

Procedure

  1. Familiarize yourself with the characteristics of this archiving object.

For more information, see Characteristics of HRCDENT.

  2. Familiarize yourself with the condition fields and time references that are available in ILM for defining retention rules for HRCDENT.

For more information, see ILM Information about HRCDENT.

  3. Create a preprocessing variant for the archiving object.

For more information, see Creating a Preprocessing Variant for HRCDENT.

  4. Create a write variant for the archiving object.

For more information, see Creating a Write Variant for HRCDENT.
