Procedure documentationDestroying Social Insurance Data Using HRCDESV

You can use the archiving object HR: Social Insurance (HRCDESV) to destroy social insurance data. Social insurance data is to be regarded as personal data in terms of data privacy. Therefore, for data privacy reasons, it may be necessary to destroy this data after a defined retention period has been reached.

In particular, this archiving object destroys data from the following infotypes:

Infotype

Description

0013

Social insurance D

0020

DUEVO

0029

Workers' compensation

0079

SI supplementary insurance D

0123

Default disruptive event income threshold deficit

0124

Disruptive event D

0341

DEUEV start

0942

Capital payment

Note Note

The archiving object also destroys dependent data. To display a complete overview of the relevant database tables, choose DB Tables in archive administration (transaction SARA).

End of the note.

When data is destroyed successfully, the system generates a destruction log (infotype 0283) and modifies the payroll status (infotype 0003). If only one record for infotype 0942 is destroyed during a destruction session, the system does not adjust the payroll status since this infotype is not relevant for payroll.

Note Note

A data record of infotype 0013 cannot be destroyed while there is at least one data record for infotype 0942 with a start date in the validity period of the 0013 data record and that cannot be destroyed as a result of its end date. The system uses a BAdI implementation to check whether there is such a dependency, and if so, prevents destruction. For more information, see Enhancements for HRCDESV.

End of the note.

Prerequisites

You are familiar with the basics of data destruction and have made the following settings:

  • You have activated Information Lifecycle Management (ILM).

  • You are familiar with the functions for ILM policies and rules and have defined the retention rules for the archiving object.

    Note Note

Note that when applying retention rules for infotype 0341 (time constraint B), the system evaluates the date in the field DEUEV Live Start instead of the end of a relevant infotype record.

    End of the note.
