Options Hold Data and Set Data

The two functions Start of the navigation pathSystem Next navigation step User Profile Next navigation step Hold DataEnd of the navigation path and Set Data are useful if a user has to enter data in the same dialog several times in succession and many of the entries are identical or similar. Data input is much easier if the fields are already contain correct values.

Hold Data

Function Hold Data saves all the your entries and fills the relevant fields when you call up the task again.
  • The data can be changed in the new input dialog.
  • If you use the tab key to move from one field to the next, the cursor also moves to all predefined fields.

Set Data

Function Set Data also saves all the your entries and fills the relevant fields when you call up the task again.
  • But with this function, data cannot be changed in the new input dialog.
  • If you use the tab key to move from one field to the next, the cursor skips any predefined fields.

Delete Data

To remove all predefined values, choose Start of the navigation pathSystem Next navigation step User Profile Next navigation step Delete DataEnd of the navigation path.
