Using Selection options and Multiple Selection

With selection options in the application bar you can extend field entries from single values to a range of values. There are various criteria available to do this. With multiple selection you can define specific ranges that you want to search in or that you want to exclude from a search.

Entering a Single Criterion for the Selection Option

  1. Position the cursor in the input field.
  2. Click the (Selections Options) pushbutton.
  3. Select the criterion you require and confirm the dialog. The input field now contains thee associated mathematical symbol, and you can enter your required selection value.

Multiple Selection

  1. If you want to enter a specific range for the selection that is defined by a maximum and minimum value, click the (Multiple Selection) pushbutton.
  2. If required, choose tab Select Ranges or Exclude Ranges.
  3. Enter the required maximum and minimum values for the selection and confirm the dialog.
