Tools Menu - 2D

Toolbar options appear at the top of the screen to assist in your 2D authoring.

Toolbar Options - 2D Edit Mode

Description

(Undo)

Undoes the last authoring action.

(Redo)

Redoes the last action. The option to redo is available for any authoring action up until the point where another edit is made.

(Show Objects)

Displays the selected objects.

(Hide Objects)

Hides the selected objects.

(Toggle Rectangular Selection)

A tool for using a selection area to select objects.

Create Rectangle(Create Rectangle)

Creates a rectangle shape on your 2D drawing.

(Create Square)

Creates a square shape on your 2D drawing.

Create Ellipse(Create Ellipse)

Creates an ellipse shape on your 2D drawing.

(Create Circle)

Creates a circle shape on your 2D drawing.

Create Path (Create Path)

Creates a multipoint line on your 2D drawing.

(Duplicate Elements)

Activates/ deactivates the shape duplication tool.

Create Hotspot from Selected Geometries (Create Hotspot from Selected Geometries)

Creates a single hotspot for the selected object or objects.

Create Multiple Hotspots from Selected Geometries (Create Multiple Hotspots from Selected Geometries)

Creates multiple hotspots, with a separate hotspot for each selected object.

(Delete Objects)

Deletes all selected objects.

Activates/ deactivates the hotspot duplication tool.

Merge Hotspots (Merge Hotspots)

Merges multiple hotspots into one hotspot.

(Generate Hotspots with AI)

Creates multiple hotspots automatically for callouts using AI.

(Delete Objects)

Deletes all selected hotspots.
