Product Handover allows the Production Engineer persona to do different actions:

Hand Over Engineering Bills of Material (EBOM)	If you have the role of Handover_Editor, you can do the following: Create and maintain MBOMs. Search for EBOMs. Plan multilevel MBOMs. Incorporate changes to a handover. Edit or delete handovers. Maintain BOM item attributes. Add manufacturing-consumable assemblies or components to MBOMs. Maintain routings. Additionally, the administrator can assign the Handover_Inst role with authorization to access specific business objects. Access is restricted based on certain attributes. The two object attribute types are supported: BOM usage and plant. Note If the user's access to limited to only reading a specific BOM usage or plant, an error message is populated if they attempt to create handover or edit the target BOM of that specific BOM usage or plant.
Configure Handover	If you have the role of Handover_Admin, you can configure the BOM attributes required for maintaining MBOMs.
Product Handover Data Security	If you have the role of Handover_Admin, you can maintain data export and data anonymization.
Task Monitoring for Handovers	If you have the role of Handover_Editor, you can monitor the backend requests related to handovers.
Hand Over Recipe Formulation to Bills of Material	If you have the role of RecipeHandover_Editor, you can do the following: Create and maintain handover of recipes. Search for the recipe and initiate the handover process to derive the bill of material (BOM). View the recipe structure in the source and target panel. Synchronize the data with the connected external data source. Edit or delete handovers. Incorporate Changes to a published handover.
