Task Monitoring for Handovers

An SAP Fiori app for product lifecycle management that allows you to monitor the backend requests related to handovers.

With this app, you can monitor the success, failure, and state of completion of all the tasks processed by the system. You can track tasks run to synchronize with an external data source system (SAP S/4HANA Cloud Private Edition, SAP S/4HANA, SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition, or SAP ERP) that are related to handovers.

Key Features

You can use this app to do the following:

  • Monitor the progress of an action performed during the handover of an EBOM to an MBOM. The task actions include initiating a handover, loading a BOM, incorporating changes, and publishing an MBOM.

  • Monitor the progress of an action performed during the handover of an SAP Integrated Product Development recipe formulation to MBOM. The task actions include initiating a handover, incorporating changes, and publishing an MBOM.

  • View all the sub-tasks with time lines for each of the Task Actions when handover is created from EBOM to MBOM and SAP Integrated Product Development recipe formulation to MBOM. You can view the time lines on the task object page for the sub-tasks.

  • Search and sort tasks that are assigned to a specific processor, action, or status.

  • Monitor if the synchronization task has been completed, still running, publishing pending, or failed.

  • Analyze the cause of any pending or failed tasks through messages.

  • View additional details like BOM, routing, and product that are associated with a handover were synchronized. The success or failure of synchronization of products, BOMs, and routings can be viewed in the Bills of Material, Product, and Routings sections of the Object Details page, which also navigates to the Message List screen.

    Bills of Material

    View details of the BOMs that were synchronized with the external source system while running a synchronization task. You can navigate to view the synchronization results or messages and the reason for failure (if any) for each of the BOMs associated with the synchronization task that was run.

    Products

    View details of the products that were synchronized with the external source system while running a synchronization task. You can navigate to view the synchronization results or messages and the reason for failure (if any) for each of the products associated with the synchronization task that was run.

    Routings

    View details of the routings that were synchronized with the external source system while running a synchronization task. You can navigate to view the synchronization results or messages and the reason for failure (if any) for each of the routings associated with the synchronization task that was run.
