Electronic Signature
Use
A complete electronic processing and tracking of safety measures in Work Clearance Management requires the connection of an electronic signature system.
For example, the standard authorization concept is not sufficient to issue an approval . The identity of the user must be confirmed through the connection to an external system (for example, a card reader).

Example
Issuing an approval with the aid of a card reader
When issuing an approval, the system asks you to identify yourself to the system. You must swipe your card through the card reader and enter your PIN. After you have entered the correct PIN, the system checks whether the cardholder is authorized to issue the approval.
