View Profiles for WCM Objects

Use

You can use a view profile to set up the entire header data screen of a WCM object ( work approval , application , and work clearance document ) according to individual criteria.

Features

You can perform the following activities in Customizing for work clearance management, under Start of the navigation path Master Data Next navigation step View Profiles End of the navigation path :

  • Define view profiles (to set up an individual header data screen)

  • Assign view profiles (per WCM object)

A number of subscreens are available for setting up individual header data screens:

  • Many data screens with related fields

  • Six tabstrips with tabs that you can define as you choose

You can position a tabstrip in the position you choose on the header data screen. The use of tabstrips is optional.

You can position a data screen in two ways:

  • Position it in the position you choose on the header data screen

  • Position it in the position you choose on any tab

Example

The standard Customizing delivered for work clearance management contains an example profile for work clearance documents, whose header data screen has the following vertical layout:

  • Screen area 1: Identification of the WCM object (with border and title)

  • Screen area 2: General data of the WCM object (with border and title)

  • Screen area 3: Tabstrip with the following tabs:

    • First tab Asset Data with the following vertical layout:

      • Reference Object (with border and title)

      • Location Data (with border and title)

      • Documents (with border and title)

    • Second tab Responsibilities with the following vertical layout:

      • Responsibilities (with border and title)

      • Partner (with border and title)

      • Planning Data (with border and title)

    • Third tab Description with the following vertical layout:

      • Long Text (with border and title)

      • Tagging Text (with border and title)

      • Untagging Text (with border and title)
