Batch Job Scheduling

This process describes how you can schedule a job to be run in the background at a certain date and time.

Process

There are two simple steps to this process:

1. Define the batch job.

2. Schedule the batch job.

Within an application, such as FI, you can start a batch job at a certain date and time which corresponds to the local date and time of the database server. This day corresponds to the location time of the database server and the time corresponds to the location time of the database server.
