Archiving the Payment Card Master Record
Definition
Archiving object F_PCARD_M for archiving payment card master records (card master records).
Use
You can use this archiving object to archive payment card files which no longer need to be directly accessible in the system.
Structure
During card file archiving, the following functions are available:

Preprocessing |
The preprocessing program checks whether all transactions made with the payment card have been posted and whether the residence time of the payment card has been satisfied. If the requirements for archiving are fulfilled, the program sets the archiving flag in the payment card master record. |

Archive |
The archiving program copies and compresses the archivable card master records from the database into an archive file. |

Delete |
The deletion program deletes the database entries for card master records that have been archived. |

Reloading |
The reloading program reloads archived card master records into the database. You should only reload archived data in exceptional cases. For more information, see the program documentation. |

You can use this function to display the archiving sessions that have been executed. See Call archiving session management for further information |
