What's New in This App?

A description of new functions that are available with 1711.

New Calculation Method

A new calculation method is used for the projected stock. Up to now, sales orders were included in the projected stock calculation, whereas sales orders were not considered as primary demands by the constrained forecast run.

The calculation in the app has been adjusted: If the last planning run was a constrained forecast run, the app does no longer consider sales order demands in the projected stock calculation. You can find the last planning run type in the corresponding new column.

New Gating Factor Type

The new Adjusted Quantity Exceeded gating factor type is available. You can now filter for this new gating factor type by selecting Adjusted Quantity in the Gating Factor Type filter bar field. If a demand meets the search criteria, you will see the new gating factor type displayed in the Gating Factor Type column.

New Navigation Options

From the detailed screen of supply elements, such as stock, purhase requisitions, or planned orders, you can now navigate to the Analyze Supply Usage app. Correspondingly, you can navigate to the Analyze Demand screen from demand elements like forecast or sales orders.

New Columns

The new columns Confirmation Mode and Confirmation Mode (Code) are available. Choose Settings to select the columns for display. Based on information transferred from your external system, these columns indicate if partial or late fulfillment are allowed for a sales order. The confirmation mode is considered during confirmation runs and deployment runs.
