Periodic Allocation on Real Estate Objects You can allocate costs and revenues on real estate objects using the following functions:
CO assessment on real estate objects:
You can use this function to apportion costs and revenues to real estate objects. In this process, original cost elements are cumulated or assigned in groups to assessment cost elements (= secondary cost elements).
For more information, see Assessment .
Distribution:
Distributionis used for correctly settling primary costs of cost centers and business processes. During this process the original cost element (that is, the primary cost element) is used for the transfer posting.
For more information, see Distribution .
Indirect activity allocation:
Indirect activity allocation is similar to apportionment. Using indirect activity allocation you can automatically settle activities based on different keys (actual values, statistical key figures, fixed shares, and so on). In addition, the system can determine the activity quantity of a sender from the activity input of the receiver.
For more information, see Indirect Activity Allocation .
You group these objects into real estate sets and enter them in the cycles as receivers.
Master Data
You grouped the receivers of the assessment, distribution or allocation together into a real estate set .
If you also want to use the measurements of real estate objects as statistical key figures, then you created these key figures and transferred the measurements of the objects to them. For more information, see Transferring Measurements to Statistical Key Figures .
Customizing
You made all settings for assessment, distribution, indirect activity allocation, and statistical key figures in Customizing for
Flexible Real Estate Management
. Choose
When defining the cycles, you entered the real estate sets you want to post as the group of receivers.
The following real estate objects can be receivers:
Business entity
Building
Land
Settlement unit
In the case of costs allocated to a settlement unit, the costs are distributed net to the receivers during service charge settlement.
The distribution amounts are usually defined using statistical key figures (see Prerequisites).
To perform assessment or allocation, in the
SAP Easy Access
screen, choose:
Perform Apportionment
Execute Distribution
Execute Indirect Activity Allocation
For periodic repostings (see Actual Postings ), choose the same path.
Enter the period, fiscal year and cycle for determining the receivers.
