Archiving of Created Documents You can specify that the documents you create are automatically archived using the SAP ArchiveLink .
To use this function, you have to install the archive system and configure the ArchiveLink interface. Make the appropriate settings in Customizing. Choose
The system assigns document types to documents for storage. There is a single document type for each correspondence application. The name of the document type is
RECP + the key of the correspondence application,
such as RECPA400 for a
General Letter
. The document types used are likewise assigned to the corresponding BOR (Business Object Repository) object categories, for instance, RECPA400 is assigned to object category BUS1134 (contract).
Caution
Do not change the standard settings! Check that the settings exist in the current client.

The system always stores the documents to be archived with a reference to the related master data object or contract. The standard archiving format is PDF. There are two ways to display archived documents when processing the object:
