One-Time Postings Using this function, you can post documents in
Financial Accounting
(FI) with reference to data in
Flexible Real Estate Management
(RE-FX). The data entry screens for one-time postings are considerably simplified, as compared to the normal FI interface, so that they are better adapted to the needs of real estate management.
You can use one-time postings, for example, for the following postings:
Posting vendor invoices with reference to real estate objects
Posting one-time receivables for contract partner with customer account
Posting costs of a condominium owners’ association
You have to have made settings in Customizing to be able to use this function. In Customizing for
Flexible Real Estate Management,
choose
There you:
Defined the posting activities
Assigned them to groups
Specified the field status variants for the posting activities
Specified, for posting activities on settlement units, how the settlement reference date is determined based on the service charge key
Entered search strategies for the vendor and the service charge key, if applicable
Note
The IMG documentation also describes how to set up the individual transactions for each posting activity.
To use one-time postings, you first have to define posting activities in Customizing. Then in the application, you enter the posting activity and the company code. Based on the settings made in Customizing for the posting activity, the system creates one or more documents that you can then add to and modify (for example, by entering the invoice amount or the concrete real estate object).
Enter your company code in the RE Navigator.
Expand the
One-Time Postings
node in the navigation structure.
Choose the posting activity in the navigation area.
Note
You can also call the function using the menu. Then you can use the input help to select posting activities that are valid for the company code. Confirm your entries, so that the system can create the screen using the posting activity.
If your system administrator defined transactions for individual posting activities (see "Prerequisites"), then you can call the posting activity directly using these transactions on the SAP Easy Access screen.
In the RE Navigator, the screen layout is based on the settings and default values for the posting activity that you entered in Customizing. You can only make entries in those fields that are allowed for the given posting activity.
Make any required entries or change the default values, if necessary.
If you defined search strategies for the vendor in Customizing, then you can use the input help to display, for example, vendors by specific industries.
Note
The vendor in the basic data of a posting activity can often be derived from other data (for example, from the contract). If it is not possible to derive the vendor in this way, you can specify a search strategy for the vendor in Customizing. The result is that, in the context of this posting activity, the system first proposes those vendors in the search help that are specified by the search strategy. This makes it easier for you to select, since the number of proposed values is smaller. In addition, one of these "preferred" vendors can be designated as a default value.

The posting is simulated. You can see the line items that would be generated if the posting were made. |
If extended withholding tax is active in your company code, then you can enter withholding tax data for debit and credit postings. You can enter this data on the tab page for withholding tax, or you can copy it from the master data of the customer or vendor. Follow the similar procedure described in Create Withholding Tax Term .
To post the document, save your entries.
The system generates one or more documents in
Financial Accounting
(FI). The amounts are posted to the accounts you entered in the transaction, or to those determined from your Customizing settings.
The documents can be reversed later. On the

screen, choose:
