Authorization Checks

Use

Authorization checks in TRM control the abilities of the two different kinds of users in the system:

  • Warehouse workers

  • Warehouse managers/supervisors

Integration

The authorization checks have to be implemented using the standard SAP authorization concept. For more information on the standard SAP authorization concept, see the SAP Library for Users and Roles (BC-SEC-USR) .

Features

You can assign the following authorization objects to TRM users:

L_MONITOR

Determines the abilities of warehouse managers to use the TRM Monitor and TRM Alert Monitor . Authorization object L_MONITOR comprises of the following authorization fields:

Authorization Field

If User Has Authorization for Field:

Site

User is able to run the TRM Monitor or TRM Alert Monitor for this site.

Method authorization group

Methods of this type appear in the object pop-up menu. Possible values are:

  • Display

  • Maintain

Object class

This object class appears in the TRM Monitor or TRM Alert Monitor hierarchy tree.
L_EXECUTE

Determines the abilities of warehouse workers (RF device users) and managers to handle exception situations. Authorization object L_EXECUTE comprises of the following authorization fields:

Authorization Field

If User Has Authorization for Field:

Site

RF device user can work in this site.

Execution Action

RF device user can perform the particular exception execution action. Possible values are:

  • Block resource (in logoff or deactivation)

  • Differences in task execution

  • New destination in task execution, including worklist interruption

  • Skip task/bundle

  • Force task confirm

  • Manual zero stock check in task execution

  • Split quantity in task execution

Warehouse manager can perform the following execution troubleshooting action from the Alert Monitor:

  • Task cancel

Internal reason code

User can provide these reasons for the exceptions.
