Changing the Status of Tasks
Procedure
You can change the status of a task if the plan status of a task in your organizational plan changes. Status changes occur for several reasons. Status changes occur for several reasons. For example, a planned task may be approved, and require activation.
When you change the status of an object, the system applies the new status retroactively, to the beginning of the object's validity period.

On the Organizational Management screen, choose .
The Task Catalog screen appears.

Determine how the system is to build up a task catalog by entering data as required in the appropriate fields.

Choose Execute.
The Task Catalog screen appears, displaying the selected tasks.

Select the task, whose status you want to change.

Choose .
The Maintain Task screen appears.

Check the Plan Version and Task fields.
The system inserts this information according to your selection in the task catalog.

Under Infotype name, choose Object.

Using the tab pages, select the current status of the task.

Choose .
A submenu appears.

Select a new status.
You go to the Infotype 1000 Object screen.

Check the information to ensure you have selected the correct task.

Save your entries.
The Maintain Task screen appears.
