Selecting Groups of Objects
Prerequisites
You select groups of objects of you want to execute the same activity for that group of objects.
Procedure
To select individual objects one after the other:

Press and hold down the SHIFT key.

Select the first object.
The system highlights the selected object.

Press and hold down the SHIFT key. Select another object Repeat this as often as required.
To select a group of objects:

Press the left mouse button and hold it down.
A small rectangle appears in the view window.

Drag the mouse across the objects, until the objects are inside the rectangle.

Release the mouse button.
The system highlights the selected object.
The system highlights the selected objects.

Press and hold down the CTRL key.

Select the object which is at the highest level in the branch.
The system highlights the selected branch.
To select more than one branch of a structure:

Press and hold down the CTRL and SHIFT keys.

Select the highest level object in the first branch.
The system highlights the selected branch.

Select the highest level object in the next branch.
The system highlights the selected branch.
-
Select as many branches as required.
