About Sorting Objects

Use

The Sort feature changes the order in which objects are presented in a hierarchical structure from left to right in each branch of a structure.

You can sort objects according to various criteria, for example, ascending or descending order.

Prerequisites

You sort objects when you want to change the sequence in which the objects are ordered in the structure. Sorting affects the order from left to right in each structure branch.

Activities

  1. Choose Start of the navigation pathObject Next navigation step Sort ObjectsEnd of the navigation path.

    The Sort Objects dialog box appears.

  2. Make the required settings.

  3. Choose Sort.

    The system sorts all objects.

  4. To exit the dialog box, choose Close.
