View Options

Use

The View Options feature allows you to control how the system displays hierarchical structures. For example, the system can display structures top-down or left-to-right.

Prerequisites

You change view settings when you want to chnage the display of hierarchical strcutures in a view in the structural graphic. You can make different settings for every view.

The view options control, for example, the display type of a structure: From top to bottom or left to right.

Activities

  1. Select a view.

  2. Choose Start of the navigation pathSettings Next navigation step View OptionsEnd of the navigation path.

    The Change View Options dialog box appears.

  3. Make the required settings.

  4. Choose Apply.

  5. To change the settings for further views:

    • Select a view.

    • Select the relevant settings in the dialog box View Option Settings.

    • Choose Apply.

  6. To exit the dialog box, choose Continue.
