Starting and Logging onto the Mobile Client for Handhelds

Use

You need to start and log onto the Mobile Client for Handhelds to access your applications and to exchange data with back-end systems through the Data Orchestration Engine (DOE).

Procedure

Starting the Client

Choose Start of the navigation path Start Next navigation step NetWeaver Mobile. End of the navigation path

Alternatively, you can choose Start of the navigation path Programs Next navigation step NetWeaver Mobile End of the navigation path icon.

Log onto the Client

If you are a Mobile Client for Handhelds user:

On the Welcome screen of your Handheld, enter your User name and Password .

Note

In case you forgot your logon data, contact your administrator.
Choose your Language from the dropdown list (optional).
Click Logon .

Note

If an error message, such as Be sure to enter correct user name and password , appears, try to log on again. If you cannot log on after a number of attempts, contact your administrator or support personnel.

Create a New User

If you are not a Mobile Client for Handhelds user yet, you need to create a new user.

Change Your Logon Password

You should change your password after receiving it from your administrator and then at regular intervals.
