Configuring the Connection Settings

Context

The connection settings are a prerequisite for connecting to the Data Orchestration Engine (DOE).

Procedure


  1. From the Menu , choose Start of the navigation pathManage Device  Next navigation step  Settings  Next navigation step  Connection SettingsEnd of the navigation path.

  2. In the Connection Settings view, maintain these fields:

    • Host

      Enter the address of the host.

    • Port

      Enter the port number of the host.

    • Client

      Enter the name of you client.

    • Device name

      Enter the name of your device.

  3. Select Secure connection (https) , if you require a secure connection.

  4. Click Save .
