Configuring Triggers for Consistency Check

Context

You must configure triggers for the Consistency Check to execute validations if:

  • a consumer executes a check and the trigger node of the consistency validation is within the scope of the check
  • a change such as create, update, or delete is made to the trigger node of the consistency validation
Prerequisite

Ensure that you already have an association between trigger node and validation node.

Procedure

  1. Select a validation.
  2. Press Ctrl + click on the validation name to open the validation Overview page.
  3. (optional) To validate before saving a transaction, choose Check Before Save.
  4. Choose New.
  5. In the Node column, choose (Browse).
  6. Select a trigger node.
  7. Choose Finish.
  8. If the trigger node and the validation node are different, choose (Browse) in the Association column else leave this column empty.
    1. In the Association column, click to open the Association Selection window.
    2. Select an association.
    3. Choose Finish.
  9. In the Association column, click to open the Association Selection window.
  10. Select an association.
  11. Choose Finish.
  12. Choose the required trigger condition.
  13. Save the validation.
