Configuring Triggers for Action Check

This option allows you to select an action.

Context

You must configure triggers for the Action Check to execute the validation whenever there is an attempt to execute an action. The scope of the Action check is limited to a node and you can only select actions specific to the node.

Prerequisite
  • You have already added a validation to a node.
  • You have already added actions to a node.

Procedure

  1. Select a validation.
  2. Press Ctrl + click to open the validation Overview page.
  3. Choose the required generic actions of the node.
  4. Choose New.
  5. In the Action column, click to open the Action Selection window.
  6. Select an action.
  7. Save the validation.
  8. Choose (Check ABAP Development Object) from the toolbar and check the Problems view for any errors.
  9. To activate the business object, choose Edit > Activate ABAP Development Object.

    TIP

    You can also use (Activate ABAP Development Object) in the toolbar.
