Delete

Follow the steps below to use the Delete function within the archiving process:

In the client where SAP Profitability and Performance Management is installed, enter the transaction code SARA.
In the Archiving Object field, choose the object to be deleted and press Enter.
Choose Delete . The Execute Delete Program window appears.
You can choose to execute the deletion in test mode.
Select the files to be deleted by choosing an entry in the Archive selection.

Note

Only files with status “Write Complete” are available in the list.

It is important that you take note of the data that is to be deleted so that you can later verify that deletion was executed correctly.
Choose Continue or press Enter.
Define the Start Date. You can set an immediate start or schedule the writing process.
Define spool parameters like the output device, then choose Continue.
Choose Execute or F8.

To validate that the data records have been deleted, check the data in the respective database tables. The deleted data should no longer exist there.
