Configuring the Identity Provisioning Service (IPS)

Context

To display products in SAP Start, configuring the Common Data Model (CDM) is a prerequisite, as it enables apps and products to be displayed. Additionally, IPS synchronization is mandatory for this setup.

On your SAP Start/ WorkZone Site Manager page, go to the Identity Authentication tab and enable Identity Authentication by switching from XSUAA. Check the I've completed the required trust configuration and confirm that I would like to continue with the switch box.

Procedure

  1. Access your IAS.
  2. Add SAP Analytics Cloud as a Source System.
  3. Use the Default Transformation and follow these steps.
  4. Add SAP Build WorkZone as a Target System.
  5. In your Source System in the IPS Tenant, go to Start of the navigation pathsource system Next navigation step JobsEnd of the navigation path. Locate Read Job and select Run now.
    To confirm that the jobs have been executed correctly, select Job Logs, and a Success message should be displayed.
