Configuring SAP Cloud Platform Workflow Integration

You can enable the communication between your ABAP system and SAP Cloud Platform Workflow.

Context

This scenario enables the applications of your ABAP system to extend their business processes by using the SAP Cloud Platform Workflow service in the Cloud Foundry environment. It allows the provisioning of an API in your ABAP system to start and control workflow instances running on SAP Cloud Platform Workflow.

You set up the scenario using the following tasks:

Procedure

  1. To configure your ABAP system, access the Implementation Guide by choosing Start of the navigation pathTools Next navigation step Customizing Next navigation step IMG Next navigation step Execute ProjectEnd of the navigation path. Alternatively, enter transaction code SPRO.
    1. Then choose the Display SAP Reference IMG button. Alternatively, enter transaction code SPRO. Then execute the following IMG activities and additional configuration tasks:

  2. Tunnel the request using, for example, the Cloud Connector. For installing and configuring a connection, see the Cloud Connector documentation.
  3. Configure SAP Cloud Platform.
  4. Test the Workflow Integration.
