Creating a New Enterprise Application

Context

In this step you create a new enterprise application. Later you will use this application to export a deployable EAR file.

Procedure


  1. From the menu path, choose Start of the navigation pathFile Next navigation step  New  Next navigation step  OtherEnd of the navigation path.

  2. In the dialog that appears, select Start of the navigation pathJ2EE Next navigation step Enterprise Application ProjectEnd of the navigation path.

  3. MyLoginModuleEAR Specify as name of the project.

  4. Choose Next . Do not change the default settings.

  5. Choose Next .

  6. Select MyLoginModuleProject to add it to the EAR project.

  7. Choose Finish .
