Creating and Maintaining Extension Number Protection

Use

1. Call SAPphone system administration (transaction SPHB).

2. Expand the navigation tree under the site for which you want to create the extension number protection.

3. Specify the rule.

   • Double-click on .

   • Select Allowed or Disallowed.

   • Save your entries.

4. If necessary, specify exceptions to this rule.

   • In the frame Exceptions to this Rule, specify the numbers that you want to exclude from your rule.

   • Save your entries.

5. If necessary, specify user-related rules. Create number/user groups. Such groups contain numbers that are only allowed for the users listed in the group. You create a group as follows:

   • Double-click on .

   • Specify a name for the group.

   • List the numbers to be protected and the users that are allowed to use these numbers.

   • Save your entries.

To change a group, double-click on in the navigation tree.
