User Authorization for Web Applications Users have access to web applications for broker report processing if you have provided yourself with authorization for a broker contract and the associated customers, as a broker or permitted insurance processor. The authorization takes places using references between the business object BUSISI002 (
broker-contract relationship
) and the user master data.
Brokers can only process those broker reports that are assigned to them with the broker contract.
When authorizing insurance processors, the system differentiates between two cases:
The processor is permitted for all brokers; he/she is not explicitly assigned to a broker and no references are defined for the broker master data.
The processor can only process certain brokers and their reports; he/she is explicitly assigned to the appropriate brokers (meaning that appropriate references have been defined for the user master data).
To provide authorization for the insurance processors for processing broker reports with the web application, you have entered these in the list of permitted insurance processors in Customizing for
Collections/Disbursements
under
You have created a reference to the broker contract for the user in the SAP Easy Access menu, under This assignment authorizes a user to process selected broker contracts and customers.
If an insurance processor is to process broker reports with the web application, and the insurance processor is only assigned to certain brokers, the system defined all broker contracts, for which the insurance processor is responsible, as references in the user master data in this step. If no broker contracts were defined as references, the insurance processor has authorization for all broker contracts .
When processing the broker report, the system checks the authorization object for broker report processing (I_VVBR_STM).
The system checks the authorization when you log on .
