If you use clarification codes that contain posting rules 24 (‘Commission underpayment: Full clearing to commission account, rest to clarification’) and 27 (‘Commission overpayment: Full clearing to commission account, rest to clarification’) when posting commissions in the broker report, postings are made on account to the commission account for the broker, which are supplied with the clearing restriction ‘C’.

In order to clear these items, the following functions are available to you in clarification processing for commission.

When transfer posting, a (partial) clearing is executed for the posting on account to the commission account. The commission amount that is still to be processed is displayed in the ‘Commission clarification’ field.
