Confirm Correspondence Request When entering a broker report, you can create a correspondence request for an “actual broker” on the
General data
tab page, or view available correspondence requests.
You have assigned the
Periodic Report Request (Actual Broker)
report category to the broker when creating the broker master data on the
Broker Collections
tab page.
The correspondence request documents when and for what period the next report is expected from the broker.
When the incoming report is entered, the correspondence request can be confirmed online. The date of receipt is entered in the request with the confirmation. If there is still no correspondence request, this can be created online.
Correspondence requests that have not been confirmed and that are overdue can be dunned in a separate dunning run for correspondence requests.
No correspondence request is available for the broker yet.
When entering/changing a broker report, click on the
Correspondence request
button. As no correspondence requests are available yet, the system asks if you want to create a request. Confirm this and enter the specifications required in a window. After confirming the entries, the correspondence request is created and the report is saved. The correspondence request contains an entry for the date of receipt.
Note
Normally, you don’t have to create correspondence requests manually as they are created periodically with the
Request broker report
mass activity.
At least one correspondence request exists.
When entering/changing a broker report, click on the
Correspondence request
button. The correspondence requests created for the broker are displayed in a dialog box. Select one. Before leaving the report, save the data so the correspondence request is saved in the database.
