Connect with SAP Cloud Application Event Hub

Use the SAP Cloud Application Event Hub to control when events are distributed between SAP cloud applications in your landscape.

SAP Cloud Application Event Hub is the default eventing service for SAP BTP. Experience consistent integration across SAP cloud and SAP BTP-based applications, eliminating the need for configuration of event storage or underlying infrastructure organization, such as customer-defined topics or queues.

Prerequisites:

You have configured the SAP Cloud Application Event Hub in your SAP BTP subaccount. For more information, see Get Started with SAP Cloud Application Event Hub Application.
You have created a formation of type Eventing Between SAP Cloud Systems in the SAP BTP cockpit, which defines the producer and consumer SAP tenant applications that can exchange events. The SAP Build Process Automation could be defined as an event consumer, as a producer of events, or both. For more information, see Creating Formations in SAP BTP cockpit to Define Event Sharing Context.
You have enabled event subscriptions. For more information, see Enabling SAP Event Subscriptions

Procedure

Create an integration dependency in SAP BTP cockpit, where you list all the event types that you want to use in SAP Build Process Automation. For more information, see Add an Integration Dependency Using a Simplified Business Eventing Template.

Result

The event types listed in the integration dependency can now be exchanged between SAP Build Process Automation and the other cloud applications included in the formation.
