Use My Processes Application

Gain insights using the My Processes application to track and manage process instances.

Prerequisites

You have configured the My Processes application in SAP Build Work Zone and are assigned to any Process Automation role collection. To access all process instances within an environment, you must also be granted the Supervise privilege on that environment. For more information, see Configure My Processes Application and Share an Environment.

Context

The My Processes application provides information about instances across various processes without the need for external configuration. This view helps you track, understand, and make informed decisions about where your input is needed and how it integrates into the larger process.

You can also configure the My Processes application to view the requests you have raised. To configure the My Processes application to view your requests, ensure that any Process Automation role collection is assigned to you. For more information on configuration, see Configure My Requests.

Key Features

  • View process instances in the table view.

    • Search and filter instances using by applying filter conditions. You can further refine your search by using the updated filter criteria based on the attributes exposed as part of the process.

    • Download instances using the (Export to Spreadsheet) icon based on the applied filter.

    • Customize the table using (Settings) icon. You can choose the required attributes from the list that you want to display as columns in the table.

  • View the details of the process instance by selecting an instance from the table. The process instance details view provides detailed information about the selected process instance. It contains the following sections:

    • Header: Displays the details of the process instance.

    • Process Flow: Displays the progress of the process instance in the defined process.

      • Displays the sequence of processes/tasks observed for the process instance.

      • Provides task-level insights on choosing a specific task in the process flow. You can view the following information for a task:

        • Processor Name: Name of the processor to whom the task is assigned.

        • Started On: Timestamp when the task has started.

        • Completed On: Timestamp for when the task is completed.

        • Status: The status of the task.

        • Outcome: Outcome of the task execution.

        • Recipients: Users who are authorized to work on the task.

      • Provides subprocess-level insights upon choosing a specific subprocess in the process flow. You can view the list of tasks available within the subprocess. You can further choose the required task to gain insights on the task.

      • You can view the process flow in both the graphical and the list view.

    • Attributes: Displays the attributes that are configured by the user for the process instance.
