Visibility Scenarios
As an administrator, you can manage and monitor visibility scenarios, process acquired data, schedule data processing, archive data, and delete scenarios.
The Visibility Scenarios tile provides the following functionalities:
Generic Actions

Search a Scenario: You can search for the scenario by typing the keyword in the Search field. You can also choose the required project from the Project dropdown to filter the scenarios within that project.

View Scenario Details: You can view the details of a scenario by selecting the scenario from the list. The following details are displayed:

Information such as project name, project version, person who has deployed the project, and when the project was deployed.

Processing information such as:
-
Total Number of Instances: The total number of instances processed.
-
Number of Completed/Abruptly Ended Instances: The total number of instances that are in Completed and/or Abruptly Ended state.
-
Start Time: The time when a specific job has started.
-
Status: The status of the processing job.
-
Events Processed: The number of events processed for a specific job.
-
Events in Buffer: The number of events in buffer.
-
Instances Processed: The number of instances created/updated.
-

Access the Dashboard: You can access the dashboard for the visibility scenario using the icon to view detailed performance indicators and instance details.

Required Role Collections: To access the dashboard, you need to be assigned to any of the following role collections:

ProcessAutomationDeveloper
-
ProcessAutomationDelegate
-
A custom role collection with PVOperator and AdvancedUser roles included.

Manage Notifications: You can configure notifications to receive email alerts for processing failures and skipped process instances. For more information, see Manage Notifications in Visibility Scenarios.

Download Archived Data: You can download the archived data in a zipped file which contains the scenario instances that have been Completed or Abruptly Ended.

Delete a Scenario: You can select the scenario from the list and choose Delete to delete a scenario.
Processing Actions

Process Now: You can process the acquired data of a scenario. Select the scenario definition from the list and then choose Process Now. This action correlates and processes the acquired data based on the scenario model to form an end-to-end process instance.

Reprocess From: You can reprocess the data available from the past 90 days by defining a specific date and time for processing. Select the required scenario definition from the list and choose Reprocess From. In the Reprocess Data dialog box, choose the specific date and time for processing.

Clear Processed Data: You can clear the existing processed data of a scenario. Choose the scenario from the list and select Clear Processed Data. To view the status of processed data deletion, choose . The next processing run starts the processing of acquired data from the beginning.

Schedule Data Processing: You can schedule data processing by toggling the Schedule Job button to ON located under the Processing Job tab. This action schedules data processing whenever events are ready for processing. As a result, the process logs generate only when the data is available.
