An interface to manage production orders.
The web service Manage Production Order In enables you to connect external applications to your SAP Business By Design system and to update general information, input and output materials for production orders.
The web service interface Manage Production Order In offers the operation MAINTAIN_BUNDLE_V1 and READ_PROD_ORDER.
The MAINTAIN_BUNDLE_V1 operation is used to update one or more production orders.
The READ_PROD_ORDER operation is used to read one or more production orders.
Due to the stateless behavior of A2X service operations, it is not possible to enforce any kind of transactional or logical locking. In spite of this, clients may be required to enforce that a modifying operation is not executed because the state of the underlying business object instance in the database has changed since the client read its data.

To update one or more production orders.
The request message of the MAINTAIN_BUNDLE_V1 operation contains the ProdOrderMaintainRequestBundleMessage_sync_V1 node that groups all possible parameters that can be updated for existing production orders.
The request message contains ProdOrderMaintainRequestBundleMessage_sync_V1 node that comprises of a basic message header and production order message node, which stores the production order elements of Root, Activity Material Input and Activity Material Output nodes, which can be updated via this inbound service interface. The request message can have one header and multiple production order nodes, which enables to update multiple production orders simultaneously.

General Rules for Using Web Services
The A2X service only allows you to update the production orders, so the parameter Action Code need not be passed.
For certain nodes with cardinality from 0/1__*, the UUID is used as an identifier for each of the respective nodes. UUID will be generated when the operation type is ‘create’. UUIDs must be passed to the relevant fields in the request structure for an update operation.
The Maintain Bundle operation is a mass-enabled stateless synchronous web service operations. Transferring or requesting amounts of data that are too large causes communication timeouts. The web service consumer is responsible for ensuring reasonable sizes of data for mass operations.
Operations in the service are called synchronously; no message header element is required. It is added to the request of synchronous writing operations to allow the implementation of idempotency, that is, "exactly once execution" of the operation. Filling this field is optional for the service consumer.
