Displaying Results of the SQL Trace

Procedure

In the result list of the SQL Monitor, select a line for which you have activated the SQL trace already, and then press the SQL Trace button in the toolbar.
Select the server for the SQL trace file that has been generated and choose Continue.

Remember

The number of Executions only refers to the number of times, the corresponding line has been executed after trace activation - until the most recent SQL Monitor refresh. Therefore, the server selection dialog might display zero (0) as a number of Executions although executions have been traced.

The standard window of the Performance Analysis tool for selecting filter conditions for trace records appears.
As a rule, you will leave the filter settings unchanged. Then choose Execute or press F8.

As result of this procedure, SQL trace data is recorded on the local server and displayed in the Performance Analysis result view.
