Meter maintenance

You can use the meter maintenance function to flush and recalibrate the meter. Both flushing and recalibration create entries in the meter history file. The system does not display the meter history file, but the file is used for the meter reconciliation report. You can also record the end reading of the meter for reconciliation purposes. You access these functions from the master data record for the meter by choosing  Goto Flushing or  Goto Recalibration or  Goto End Reading.

Initializing the meter

Before the meter can be used in the loading or delivery confirmation processes, it first has to be calibrated to ensure that it produces accurate readings. You recalibrate the meter using the recalibration function.
