Creating a Vehicle Meter

  1. Choose Start of the navigation path Logistics Next navigation step Sales and Distribution Next navigation step Bulk transportation Next navigation step Master data Next navigation step Meter Next navigation step Vehicle meter Next navigation step Create End of the navigation path . This takes you to the initial screen for creating a vehicle meter.

  2. Choose ENTER to get to the Create Vehicle Meter: Details screen.

  3. If you leave the Vehicle meter field blank, the system automatically generates a number for the vehicle meter when the master data record is saved.

    If you want to create a new vehicle meter by copying data from a vehicle meter that already exists, enter the number of the vehicle meter which already exists in the Vehicle Meter field in the Copy from area of the screen. The data that is copied can be changed while creating the new vehicle meter.

  4. In the Create Vehicle Meter: Details screen, enter a short description of the vehicle meter and enter the vehicle meter data:

  • Equipment

  • Unit of Measure (UoM)

  • Conversion factor

  • Number of digits

  • Deletion flag

  1. Enter the start reading for the meter.

  2. Save the vehicle meter.
