Use

Components (DCs) can use one another and, therefore, depend on one another. Here, you see a list of the public parts of other components used by this component. If parts of your DC want to use another DC, you can define a new use dependency here.

Adding a Used DC

       1.      In the context menu of the Used DCs node, choose Add Used DC.

       2.      Select the desired component or public part.

Make sure that you select the appropriate purposes of public parts, otherwise errors can occur during the component build.

       3.      Under Dependency Type, select the dependency type.

       4.      Choose Finish.

Editing the Used DC

       1.      To view the properties of a use dependency, in the context menu of the entry, choose Properties.

The Properties view appears. Under Development Component Info, also the dependencies to other DCs are displayed.

       2.      To change the properties of a use dependency, in the context menu of the use, choose Edit Used DC.

Removing a Used DC

       1.      You can delete use dependencies. To do this, in the context menu of the entry, choose Remove Used DC.
