Entering Proxy SLD Settings

...

       1.      Choose the view Web Services Security in the Visual Administrator. Select the proxy you want to set the SLD entries for.

       2.      Click on the combo box next to the URL text field and set it to SLD. Three new text fields appear with the caption Synchronize with System Landscape. You have to provide the proxy with all SLD relevant information. As those names tend to be very unhandy, the best way might be to copy them from SLD directly.

       3.      To copy these names from SLD you have to go to the SLD administration again and then click on Content Maintenance.

       4.      Set the first combo box titled Subset to Landscape Description and the second (Class) to Web Service. A table containing all Web services known to SLD appears.

       5.      The field System Name in the Visual Administrator can be filled with the system name which is displayed in the column SystemName in SLD. If this field is left blank, the first system that can be found will be inserted. Do the same for the WS Name field. It can be filled using the entry in column Name.

       6.      As more than one port can be associated with a Web service, the corresponding port has to be selected in order to get its name. To do so, click on the number in the Assoc’s column and then select the correct port.

       7.      The name entry in the detailed description is the proper entry for the WS Port field in the Visual Administrator.

       8.      You have to restart that proxy for the new URL to become effective.
