Server Logs

The DTR server log is written to the DTR server log file using the following categories, which you can use in the Log Configurator by setting the severity of a category to determine which messages should be written to the log and to set filters in the LogViewer. You can find important information about the state of the DTR server in the DTR Server Log. This includes critical errors that must absolutely be observed: Severity = ERROR. Therefore, you as an administrator must check the DTR server logs regularly.

Example

"Severe error in network I/O of central server. Please restart DTR server application. If the problem occurs again, contact SAP support."

"The progression of time as shown by the database timestamps was in reverse direction. Please check that the system clock works properly."

The message describes both the problem and the required actions.
