Procedure

...

       1.      In the Repository Browser, select the resource to be deleted from the workspace:

                            a.      Delete a folder from the workspace:

...

                                                  i.       In the context menu of the folder to be deleted, choose Delete Folder:

The folder is checked out in an activity for deletion and deleted from the local file system.

                                                ii.       Check in the activity.

The folder is deleted in the DTR workspace.

Note

A folder can be checked out for deletion only when there are no resources existing under it.

                            b.      Delete a folder with subtree from the workspace:

                                                  i.       In the context menu of the folder to be deleted, choose Delete Subtree:

A dialog window appears.

Caution

The activity for deleting the subtree is generated and immediately checked in; you cannot undo the deletion.

                                                ii.       In the dialog, confirm that you want to delete.

The subtree is deleted in the DTR workspace.

                            c.      Delete a file from the workspace:

                                                  i.       In the context menu of the file to be deleted, choose Delete.

The file is checked out for deletion.

                                                ii.       Check in the activity.

The file is deleted in the DTR workspace.

Note

If you have selected the option of explicitly specifying the activity for the operations on the workspace, the dialog window Activity Selection is displayed with the list of open activities existing in the repository. You can either select an existing activity or create a new one. The resources are added to the activity specified.

Note

When a resource is deleted from a workspace, the previous versions of the resource still remain in the repository. A new version of the resource is created for deletion, which is marked as deleted.
