Testing Web Dynpro Applications in the Developer Studio 

Purpose

Web Dynpro applications that are developed in the SAP NetWeaver Developer studio and deployed on a server can be tested from within the Developer Studio. The main functions are the recording and replaying of test scripts.

Integration

Although the Developer Studio provides standalone testing capabilities as described in this documentation, you can gain access to a complete test environment, which includes the Test Workbench, by importing the test scripts into eCATT.

Features

The functions are accessible from within the Web Dynpro perspective.

You can record and replay Java-based Web Dynpro applications. The test script is stored as an XML file on the local file system, as are the results. An editor allows you to edit test scripts and results. Comparison functions are available for comparing the files.
